Top 10 Bachelorette Party Activities In Phoenix / Scottsdale

There’s no shortage of lists of things to do in Detroit when you google it, especially when it comes to outdoor activities. This means that now that businesses are reopening, it can become very difficult to know what activities are safe. If you know Stefan and I (Brian) we love the outdoors so this is right in our wheelhouse. COVID-19 is starting to take a back seat and we have promised ourselves that we will not go out for a single day this year. For that reason, we thought we’d list some of our favorite things to do outdoors while in downtown Detroit.

Detroit is home to Michigan’s first microbrewery. However, Detroit has become a mecca for craft alcohol in recent years. Breweries, distilleries and even wineries can be found throughout the city. Most have outdoor patios, and you can spend all day exploring the city while checking them out. Detroit is a huge city in terms of area and is made up of many different parts of the city. To make things easier, we’ll break them down by city location.

As businesses reopen, there are many options for action. Whatever you do, we highly recommend spending time outdoors. Not only is it safer for COVID-19, but it’s also more beautiful! And just a little reminder, you can see most of our recommendations in advance by booking a HandleBar tour that takes less than 2 hours. Come see the whole city with us and then, after seeing everything, you can decide what you want to do! Start your girls weekend just outside of Detroit in Ferndale. Aerial Dragonfly Movement Studio will fully stretch you and push your limits. You can book private sessions just for your party. It will make you feel nicer than ever.

After crossing the border, head to the MGM Grand Casino and Hotel for an early check-in. Put on a suit and head to the spa with the girls for a total relaxation treatment. Mani, pedis, massage, facial? Just choose! Or maybe you just want to drink, eat and relax by the pool with your girlfriends for a while? They have it too!

Limo Rental Costs In Metro Detroit

Once you’re rested and ready to go, get dressed for a night on the town. But don’t forget to pack food. Go to Greektown and dine at Pegasus Tavern. Enjoy great authentic Greek food and drinks with an incredible atmosphere. Be sure to order the saganaki!

Once your bellies are full and you’re in party mode, head to The Old Shillelagh for live Irish entertainment to kick off the night. Then head across the street to dance the night away at Delux.

Be sure to stop at Wahlburgers or Five Guys in Greektown for a late night meal before heading back to your hotel! Who knows… maybe you’ll meet a celebrity?!

If you manage to wake up early enough to make brunch the next morning, head to the Townhouse. You and your best friends can enjoy the perfect hangover food and Bloody Mary’s before hitting the pub.

Austin Bachelorette Party Ideas

Make sure the bachelor party has a Michigan Pedaler pedal bar with your favorite afternoon drinks. As you cruise through Detroit, sweating from the night before and listening to your favorite tunes, you’ll stop at some of downtown Detroit’s best bars. Then head to Comerica Park to watch a ballgame.

Be sure to stay for the entire game, even if you’re not a big baseball fan. The weekend games conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.

An alternative option for less pleasant weather: Fowling. If you’re not from Detroit, both of these things may sound completely foreign, so let me explain. Fowling = football + bowling. Hamtramck has a great warehouse. Try (literally) throwing a football over the pegs. See how well you do against the opposing team.

The next morning, enjoy breakfast at the Hudson Café before returning home to recover from a long, exciting and eventful weekend. The monster pancakes are to die for.

Between bars, bike pubs, fitness, relaxation, and fun, Detroit is definitely the perfect place for a bachelorette party!

First let’s talk about where we will stay. There are so many options in Detroit that are sure to fit any style. Looking for a luxury boutique hotel? It belongs to us! Are you planning to use the time on the way to sleep? It belongs to us! Need a spacious townhouse near the city? It belongs to us! Here are some of our personal favorites:

Located in the heart of Detroit’s Woodward Mall, the Shinola Hotel gives you great access to all that Detroit has to offer. The hotel itself screams luxury. A picture of mid-century vibes and earthy gems. SWEEN. In addition to its impeccable design, it’s also home to some of our favorite restaurants, including San Morello, which serves some of the best Italian food in town. You’ll also find Shinola’s Secret Bar / Evening Bar in the back alley.

The only downside to this hotel is that you may never want to leave. Photos: Shinola Hotel

Close to the Monarch Club and The Belt, the Siren Hotel is in a great location for a night on the town. For the sweetest of brides, this hotel offers stunning interiors and also has a candy bar. Here you will have no problem finding the perfect photo with your girls.

For a true piece of Detroit history, stay at the Detroit Foundation Hotel. Formerly home to the Detroit Fire Department, this boutique hotel offers a vintage Detroit feel with a modern twist. We really like the historical atmosphere.

Vegas who? MGM Grand Detroit is a luxury casino and hotel that will make you feel like a football fan. With over 6 restaurants and bars, a beautiful indoor pool and a buzzing casino, you’ll feel like you’re in the city of sin. Looking for something a little different during your stay? Try a game of Top Golf right at the hotel!

Sammie’s Place — How It All Got Started

If you have a large party, this Midtown Townhouse is perfect for you. Consisting of 3 apartments, there will be plenty of space for you and the girls. It can host up to 16 people! We love that it’s decorated with original Detroit art and furniture. Midtown is home to its main attractions, but keep in mind that you’re only a short distance from downtown.

Let’s talk about the store. One of the most important things about a good weekend is good food. Here are our favorite places for your party in Detroit!

The Mansion is an absolute must for brunch. From their Challah French Toast to their Crispy Chicken Sandwich, there’s something for everyone in your group…and don’t even get us started on those Bloody Marys. Almost as important as the food, the decor makes for great selfies. Take a photo of the bride against a beautiful green wall or with the city as a backdrop on the stylish outdoor terrace.

We’ve mentioned Sanmorello before, but they’re being heard again because they’re so good. This meal will be small, but worth every penny. The Italian cuisine, drinks and beautiful atmosphere are top notch. We recommend “My Grandma’s Ravioli”.

How To Plan An Epic Nashville Bachelorette Party

For our sushi-loving brides, Maru offers a great menu with fantastic cocktail options and a great wine list. The offers change seasonally, but you’ll always find something worth ordering. For the non-seafood bride, you’ll find teriyaki chicken, ramen, and more.

This Corktown creation has plenty of seating for your bridal clan. They have a variety of cocktails, a great selection of charcuterie, and our favorite app in town, The Fried Dubliner Cheese. This place is an absolute must if you ask us.
